Event Title: Six Degrees Society Digital Members Only: Beat The Bomb Virtual Networking Night with Alex Patterson

What’s Happening?

Beat The Bomb Virtual is an online multiplayer game hosted on Zoom by a Beat The Bomb Facilitator. Described as “the ultimate test of virtual teamwork” players will be separated into teams of 2-6, and will undertake 3 games that require them to use expert communication and quick coordination to succeed. The games are:

Sequencer – a numbers and memory game (10 mins)
Echo Chamber – a music sound and pattern game (10 mins)
Cyberbot – a Pac Man-esque challenge (3 mins + Earned Bomb Time)

Each team’s objective is to earn as much time as possible in the first 2 games in order to maximize their chances of “Beating The Bomb” and securing a top spot on the Overall Leaderboard. With introductions and a guided debrief game at the end, the total experience will last about 45-60 minutes.

Each Player Will Need:

A fully-charged PC, Mac Computer , or tablet (at this time, our game does not work on Mobile Phones)
Zoom pre-installed (click here to download Zoom), and a front-facing camera.
A pair of headphones
A strong internet connection
All unnecessary applications and browser tabs closed to avoid performance issues
